Update – 31 July 2022

Our second stage of public consultation (29 June- 31 July 2022) is now closed.

Thank you to everyone who took part and came along to our online and in-person events.

During this consultation we asked for views on our updated masterplan, including plans to bring historic buildings back to use, community uses and ways to promote greener travel.

We also invited feedback on proposals for a new pedestrian and cycle bridge over the A40.

We are now in the process of reviewing and considering all feedback received from the consultation, and are continuing to work with the local community and other groups to help shape our plans.

After this, we will be submitting a planning application to South Oxfordshire District Council (SODC). We expect to submit this application in autumn 2022.

The bridge over the A40 will be a separate planning application and is expected to be submitted to both South Oxfordshire District Council and Oxford City Council at the same time.

People will have the chance to comment on our applications when they are submitted to SODC and Oxford City Council.
